The first goal for them must therefore be not to subject the cardiovascular system, joints, bones and muscles too much, as this usually has a negative impact on health.

The use of a running watch and the adherence to the training guidelines help to introduce the body, which is already stressed by illness or obesity, to exercise as gently as possible and thus to improve general fitness and to ensure a controlled and healthy weight reduction. If you are struggling with obesity and, contrary to medical advice, do not use a running watch to exercise, success is not guaranteed.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of a running watch?

The main advantages of a running watch are that they can not only be used to control and track training, but also to control training efficiency and physical condition. For example, conclusions can be drawn about the condition of the entire cardiovascular system based on the heart rate during training. Another advantage of the running watch is that it can prevent permanent overload. All you have to do is set a maximum heart rate for training. If this is exceeded during the running unit, a warning signal sounds and asks you, the athlete, to reduce the intensity of the load and run more slowly. In this way, you will stay in the healthy pulse range that is acceptable for you. Running watch with or without a chest strap?
